Yes, but not only a theme. The visual theme is one part of UX Upgrade and can be used independently from most of its UX features. The complete plugin also changes how you interact with Redmine, including navigation, controls, issue detail and many smaller interface elements that a standard theme cannot change.
Theoretically yes. The visual theme and most UX enhancements are separate, so you can use the RedmineX appearance while keeping Redmine's standard behavior where you prefer it.
Yes. You can customize the interface with your company logo, colors and login screen, allowing an internal Redmine installation to match your corporate identity.
Yes, we offer a free Overrides plugin which gives you a blank .css file as a playground for any overrides.
It is designed for real Redmine installations rather than an isolated demo interface, including environments using additional plugins. However, third-party plugins can introduce their own markup and styling, so compatibility with every plugin cannot be guaranteed without checking the specific setup.
