We refined the overall layout, improved alignment of avatars, integrated the new Redmine 6 avatars, adjusted colors and spacing, and reduced visual clutter so that comments, journals and important information are easier to follow.

Attachments are also presented more clearly with improved previews that work well for both screenshots and other files.

PRO Tip: the attachment list goes from tha lest uploaded and if there are more than 10 attachments, you can collapse them.

Consistent dialogs and popups

Many dialogs in standard Redmine feel like they were created independently over many years.

We've unified their appearance and spacing, including CKEditor dialogs for links, images and tables, making them more compact and easier to use.

Faster navigation on Agile boards

Agile boards are often information-dense. We've improved link visibility and overall visual hierarchy so it's easier to distinguish clickable elements while keeping the cards clean and readable.

The same goes for issue detail and the sidebar. We've improved the visual distinction between navigation and informational content, making it much clearer what can be clicked.

Better organization of complex settings

Administration pages in Redmine plugins can become overwhelming as more options are added.

We've introduced clearer visual grouping of related settings, making long configuration pages easier to understand without changing their functionality.

Instead of one long list of fields, settings are separated into logical sections that are easier to navigate.

Modern icons throughout the interface

Many older image-based icons have been replaced with modern FontAwesome PRO vector icons, providing a cleaner appearance and perfect sharpness on high-resolution displays.

Improved typography for Wiki

Technical documentation deserves proper formatting.

We've refined code blocks, blockquotes, spacing and typography throughout Wiki pages, making long documentation significantly easier to read.

Hundreds of small improvements

The biggest difference isn't one large feature.

It's the accumulation of hundreds of small improvements throughout the interface—better spacing, cleaner alignment, improved colors, more consistent controls and dozens of refinements that make Redmine feel much more modern without changing the way it works.
